Dear Sherry,
Although I could not be present on the scene, I could imagine what a wonder you have accomplished—you have got the grand prize and beaten all the other contestants from all over the country. Here in this letter I wish to express my most earnest and ardent congratulations.
Looking at the photograph in the local newspaper, I wonder whether it is my childhood partner, who was once timid and reserved, but has gained confidence and eloquence along the life road. Years of unremitting efforts have at last yielded sweet fruits. I'm no only happy for but also proud of you from the bottom of my heart.
I am convinced that you will use your head and hands to enhance your public speaking to an even higher level.
Wish you greater success in the future.
Yours sincerely,
Li Ming
