About this story
《Under the Moon》is a science fiction written by British writer Rowena Akimyemi.
Three years ago, in 2222, Earth nearly died because of Ozone depletion. So people created Artificial Ozone Layer to stop earth dying. It had rain again, and the trees sprouted, the river had water again.
Now is the year of 2522. Over Europe, the AOL is breaking up fast. Young tress are beginning to wither, and rivers are also drying gradually. Kiah and Rilla see these dangerous changes from their spaceship. They want to tell the truth to people on earth.
First, Kiah and Rilla talk this to Caption Seru. But Seru indicates that there is nothing she can do. Then, they find Zadak and Zadak’s attitude is the same as Seru’s. At last, they find Gog, but doesn’t want to hear about the planet. Contrary, they are putted in prison.
Two years ago, Seru was on Adai’s ship, they already had found the changes about AOL. They went back to earth and talked to Gog, the Earth Commander. However, Gog was very angry and didn’t listen to them. He sent Adai to the Moon, and sent Seru to a weather ship in the Antarctic. Zadak once talked to Gog about the AOL too. He told Gog that there was no rain last winter, half of Australia had no water and trees was dying. But Gog didn’t understand this.
Gog thought the AOL was good for a hundred years and there was no necessary to give money for the AOL and rain. What’s more, he wanted all earth’s money for the spaceship to Mars because he wanted to go to Mars.
Next, Zadak and Seru want to help Kiah and Rilla. Zadak goes to kill Gog. Yet, he is killed by God’s guards. Gog is angry very much. He goes to burn Zadak’s forest and destroy Australia. Seru contacted Adai for help and Adai is driving his ship to earth. After the plane ready, they get into the plane and fly to the old airport where Adai’s spaceship is waiting.
At last, everyone jump down from the plane and run across to the spaceship, the spaceship left earth to the Moon colony. All of them look down at he burning planet. They see the dark smoke over Africa, Europe, here and there. The planet Earth is burning, burning, burning ...
P.S. The Moon colony is a beautiful, wonderful country, with rivers and rain, forests and flowers, buildings and the first town.

She is the Caption of ship OM-45. She is a little woman with a fat face.
4、Adai（阿岱）
He is the Commander of the Moon colony. He is Kiah’s brother. He is tall, with brown hair and looks nice.
5、Zadak（扎达克）
He is the Commander of Australia. He is Rilla’s father’s friend. He worked with Rilla’s father in Brazil ten years ago.
He is very tall, big man with blue eyes and a lot of white hair.
6、Bel（贝尔）
She is Gog’s wife. She is a tall, fat woman. She has a lot of long red hair and she wears an expensive blue dress. She liked expensive things.
7、Gog（高格）
He is the Earth Commander. He is tall and fat, and without much fair. He is the richest man on earth and the worst man on earth.
8、Bel’s cat
The cat is black and white: half its face is black and half is white; half its body is black and half is white.
